A Mothers Love

You taught me

so many wonderful things

You taught me

so many songs to sing

Amazing Grace

and In The Upper Room

About a redeeming love

that would not stay in the tomb

You told me this prison

is of my own making

And salvation awaits

“It’s yours for the taking”

You said it’s so simple

all has been done

Freedom was ensured

when they crucified the Son

That’s not true I cried

or I would be free!

Open your heart

that is where He left your key.

Thank you for the guidance , patience and love Mom.

Happy Birthday.
